NFH Month: Day 7

NFH Month Celebration #7:

Massive amounts of Swiss chocolate in honor of my PP great-grandfather, Edward, today because… Well… Um… I don’t need to make any excuse for either my love of chocolate or genealogy! 🙂

NFH Month Fun Fact #7:

My PP grandfather, Edward, served in the Swiss army.

In your opinion, what country produces the best chocolate?

Do you have anyone in your family that’s served in the armed services of another country?

Welcome to my blog Ana! That’s a really good question. I unfortunately haven’t gotten my “about” page up yet, but I’ll definitely discuss that there. Basically, because my GEDCOM traces literally everyone… in-laws of in-laws of in-laws… For example, I picked someone at random from my GEDCOM and this is who I picked:

      Magnus Johansson (1789 – 1869)
relationship to you: paternal grandfather of wife of brother-in-law of mother-in-law of brother-in-law of great grand aunt

…and that is why I’m called OCD. 🙂 I wouldn’t have it any other way though, this has lead to finding some really interesting connections between people/families.
